The faculty of Health and Welfare is looking for
A SENIOR RESEARCHER
primarily for the Welfare Technology RDI (research, development and innovation) projects and lecturing in Welfare Technology Master´s Degree programme, conducted in English.
The employment of non-fixed-term is starting on 1 September 2018. The main location of work is the Pori Campus of Satakunta University of Applied Sciences (SAMK).
We appreciate broad knowledge about welfare technology and service design as well as understanding of change drivers and trends in health and welfare sector.
Experience in national and international networks and projects testing and developing welfare technology in the health and welfare context support successful management of the assignment. We hope you have excellent communication and co-operation skills, your attitude is positive for a change, you are innovative and open-minded and you have experience in multidisciplinary work. We also appreciate understanding of services and technology targeted for the elderly as well as any experience in working with health data and robotics in well-being context.
Fluent English skills are also required to manage the assignment with success. Experience in different pedagogical methods and tuition in an institution of higher education would be of advantage.
We expect a suitable doctoral degree from an institution of higher education. A teacher’s pedagogical studies of 60 credits must be completed within three years of the appointment to the post.
The conditions of the employment binding the employer are defined by the collective agreement of the private sector Sivistystyönantajat ry (teachers in a university of applied sciences).
